When I am D/L a album I get other peoples L/P as well ,how do I just get the
l/p I just want instead of the other rubbish and most of it its in Japanese

l/p I just want instead of the other rubbish and most of it its in Japanese

Currently there's a situation where former program coders and disgruntled
members of the program's patch team have hacked the WinMX Peer Network's
search abilities so that filters no longer apply, regardless of the search.

There is also a component of the attacks affecting chat rooms. More info in

At this time, those community members who continue to support the program are
working on a patch, but apparently it's slow going. Best alternatives right
now are either to use the OpenNap servers (unaffected by the hack), or a

Unfortunate that a few idiots are able to spoil an entire P2P network for

I have noticed that as well. When I type in a search, I am getting all
kinds of trash I don't want. Sure wish someone would fix this.

It is being worked on. They couldn't bring down the network one way so
they're trying another.

Youo're talking about search. The network is under attack. it's beling
worked on. On the search you'll see a stop button. search on what yo want
and hit the stop when the weird characters show up. Then look through what's
on the screen. Usually what yoiu want will be there but yo'll have to dig.
